Naicku
I am originally from Brittany in the west of France and I have lived for 25 years in Corsica on the Isle of Beauty.
An artist at heart, when I was little, I painted, I cut out, I sculpted, I sewed, with whatever came to hand. It was fashion that I headed towards. I got into painting a little by chance, it had tickled me for a long time, and the first time I put my emotions down on a canvas, I felt whole, complete, like after a long journey with lots of detours, and one day you are simply where you should be. Spontaneously I chose to paint clouds, galaxies above my head, like a shock absorber to the harshness of the earth. As children, we all looked at the clouds with our childish eyes and our childish fascination, we found shapes in them, we followed their course, imagining all the countries they would cross.
I kept this look and I hope that for a moment when a person looks at my painting, they find this look of a child of wonder. It is my present.
