“I know the passion that animates Robert L Parcus’s every action, I know the refined professionalism he uses in every situation, without neglecting those details that generally “make the difference”. A gallery with a unique venue in the world animated by an equally singular and, in my opinion, far-sighted project. Kudos to Robert L Parcus and the selected artists who work with him on a daily basis.”

📌 Press Release – Parcus Gallery

Parcus Gallery is a forward-thinking gallery that stands apart from its traditional counterparts by adopting a unique strategy that prioritizes artist representation and visibility. Contrary to the conventional approach of showcasing a select few artists, Parcus Gallery embraces a broader spectrum of artistic talent, fostering a dynamic community of 60 artists with the ambition to reach 200 soon. This strategy not only expands the gallery’s reach and appeal but also provides artists with a platform to showcase their work and connect with a wider audience of art enthusiasts and potential collectors.

Parcus Gallery’s commitment to artist empowerment extends beyond mere representation. The gallery recognizes the value of investing in its artists’ careers, providing them with comprehensive support that goes beyond traditional gallery services. This includes marketing and promotion, exhibition logistics, and even financial assistance through a unique artist participation program.

The artist participation program involves a mandatory investment from artists, which is fully refundable upon contractual criteria. This investment serves two primary purposes:

  1. Financial Stability: The funds generated through the participation program provide a stable source of income for the gallery, enabling it to invest in its infrastructure, marketing efforts, and overall growth. This ensures the gallery’s sustainability and ability to continue supporting its artists effectively.
  2. Artist Engagement and Commitment: The investment requirement fosters a sense of shared responsibility and mutual commitment between the gallery and its artists. Artists are motivated to actively participate in gallery events, promotions, and exhibitions, demonstrating their dedication to their careers and the success of the gallery as a whole.

Parcus Gallery’s approach to artist representation is not only innovative but also highly effective. By fostering a collaborative environment where artists are actively involved in their promotion and development, the gallery has successfully raised the profile of its artists and facilitated numerous sales.

The gallery’s commitment to staying ahead of the curve and adapting to the ever-evolving art landscape further reinforces its position as a forward-thinking force in the industry. Parcus Gallery is not merely a gallery that showcases art; it is an ecosystem that nurtures artistic talent and empowers artists to reach their full potential.

The History.

In the unassuming chronicle of Parcus Gallery, a story of perseverance and dedication emerges. Founded by Robert L. Parcus, the gallery’s origins harken back to 2017 when he arrived in Europe with a modest €5,000 in his possession. This humble sum became the cornerstone of what would later blossom into an artistic haven nestled within Berlin’s bustling commercial district of Charlottenburg. Flourishing in this vibrant locale, the gallery’s journey took an unforeseen turn with the onset of a global crisis—the advent of the pandemic and the ensuing mandatory lockdown.
In March 2020, the gallery made a pivotal decision, seeking solace from the pandemic’s tumult within the serene confines of Austria’s majestic Aistershein Castle. This strategic relocation marked a significant juncture in the gallery’s narrative.
The zenith of Parcus Gallery’s tale arrived in June 2023, coinciding with the esteemed Art Basel event. It was during this momentous occasion that the gallery unveiled its maiden branch in the enchanting city of Basel, strategically positioned just 200 meters from the revered Art Basel venue. This expansion was not just a milestone; it embodied the gallery’s unwavering commitment to the world of art.
September 2023 bore witness to the birth of Parcus Magazine—an embodiment of the gallery’s unwavering devotion to the realm of artistic expression.
Over the course of six transformative years, Parcus Gallery conscientiously nurtured its network, evolving into a tenacious and influential entity. Confronted with formidable challenges, notably the daunting pandemic crisis, the gallery not only persisted but also achieved reasonable sales figures—all without relying on external funding, banks, or investors.
At the core of Parcus Gallery’s mission lies a steadfast dedication to artists—an enduring pledge to provide them with the visibility they rightfully deserve. This commitment is realized through a multifaceted approach, encompassing the physical gallery, an engaging online presence via the website, a robust social media presence, and the Parcus Magazine. Beyond art fairs, the gallery curates its own exhibitions in prestigious gallery spaces in important cities, enriching the portfolios of its artists and attracting new collectors, leading to successful sales and recognition to all the artists of its roster.
In the documentary narrative of Parcus Gallery, set against the ever-evolving canvas of the art world, the story unfolds with an unpretentious dedication to art and as a testament to the unwavering spirit of dedication, persistence and good choices.
