Louro’s paintings have the depth of childish thought, with characters, signs, symbols, colors, and images that everyone can understand. They are presented in an environment of positivity, contentment, and humor, amidst a world of extreme superficiality.

The costumes in Mário Louro’s paintings are a significant aspect of his art, designed in the lines between reality and imagination.

They can evoke different emotions and create a sense of otherworldliness or fantasy; The use of costumes also adds to the playful and whimsical tone of his work, which invites viewers to engage with the paintings on a deeper level.

Overall, the figurative tendency in Mário Louro’s paintings are a crucial component of his artistic style, and they contribute to the unique and captivating nature of his work. Overall, Mário Louro is an artist who has built on his diverse experiences and talents to create a body of work that is both engaging and thought-provoking. Louro’s paintings are characterized by their accessibility, with recognizable imagery and a sense of playfulness that appeals to a wide audience.
