Sven-Arne Strömgren, born 1952 in the northern part of Sweden.
“I started shaping sculptures as early as six years old. The funny thing was that everything l shaped at that time i buried in the ground. l don’t know why, but they remained gone.
In the early sixties the family moved to Stockholm, where my sculpturing continued more consistently and also in other materials (stone, bone, iron. etc.).
Later, I started to gravitate more towards oil painting and collage techniques.
Went to some art schools, exhibited my art and lived the life of an artist to the fullest.
After my time in Stockholm, I moved back up north and developed a deeper relationship with Art and Nature.
I did a lot of solo exhibitions from the 70s to the 2000s, but today I live in the woods, forgotten by all these refined circles.
I realized how fragile life is.”
