  • Fee: €2500 for each 2 years.

  • standard inclusion in Parcus Magazine editions,
  • image and name featured on the gallery’s homepage,
  • highlights in posts and promotions.

Parcus Gallery: The Pioneer in Abolishing Sales Commissions!

The “Foundation Level Membership” was created to support artists, and offers artists an economical way to participate in Parcus Gallery, an excellent opportunity to start their experience with the gallery while simultaneously projecting a professional artist profile in the art market.

  • Annual Membership Fee – Foundation Level:
    Basic: €150
    .
    With 1 Exhibition included: €1000
  • 0% (zero) commission on sales to the gallery.

Storage fee:

  • Up to 60x90cm: €25.
  • Up to 100x150cm: €40.
  • Above 100x150cm: €75 or negotiable.

*Per each specific artwork, per year as the duration of the contract, non refundable.

Exhibition of your artwork in our physical galleries:

  • It is not included, but it may happen and can also be negotiated.

Exhibitions at Art Fairs and Exclusive Events: 

  • Specific costs will be proposed case-by-case depending on each specific exhibition.
  • In the “Foundation Level Membership,” the fees to participate in exhibitions will have an additional charge of 50%. (The “Full Level Members” are exempt from this additional fee.)

Includes: 

  • Parcus Gallery Webpage:
    Dedicated page on the gallery website with up to 6 images of artworks and a brief Artist Statement. 
  • Parcus Magazine: Inclusion of the name of the artist in the Foundation Level Artists simple list. 
  • Access to our services. 

General Conditions:

  • Shipping expenses, both to and from the venue, are the responsibility of the artist, including import/export taxes which is always applicable, when it concerns shipments from/to outside the EU.
  • The gallery does not require exclusivity from its members, this being an optional initiative for each artist.
  • Artworks in the gallery, shipping, and insurance: Selection of artworks to be agreed upon with the gallery. Shipping costs between the artist’s studio and gallery (and return) are the artist’s responsibility. Insurance, if desired, is also at the artist’s expense. The Gallery is not liable for any damages to artworks under any circumstances. 
  • The artist will receive 100% of the sale amount, minus a 20% sales tax deduction.
  • For sold artworks, Shipping must be paid by the buyer or the artist, as agreed in common sense.

 

General Criteria Considered in Evaluating New Gallery Members

  • Quality of Materials: Use of appropriate materials, combined with the application of philosophical or unexpected content, and the ability to create works with deep concepts and precise technical execution.
  • Understanding of Artistic Concepts: Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of artistic concepts.
  • Emerging Personality: Signs of the artist’s emerging personality and vision through their work.
  • Quality/Market Impact Ratio: Value of the work in the various inherent aspects with respect to the market.
  • Growth Potential: Indications that the artist has potential to evolve and improve skills, artistic vision, and relationship/symbiosis with the art market over time.

Approved artists can choose between two contract options, both aimed at fostering long-term relationships. This approach allows us to develop and implement the best practices for achieving successful exhibition and sales results for our artists’ work.

-Where would my paintings be exhibited?

The gallery has bases at the Castle Aistersheim in Austria and Basel.
Your paintings will be exhibited randomly at these locations and also online, where you will have your own page on the gallery’s website, and a inclusion on Parcus Magazine.

You can also have them exhibited at our many art fairs and popup exhibitions (check our Events Programme) to which refundable costs apply. 

-How many exhibitions per year are we talking about? 

You can participate in all our exhibitions. Each of them has a different cost, but in the event that your works are sold during the exhibition, our gallery will waive its own commission until the total amount you paid to participate is fully reimbursed to you.

-How many paintings should I send and when?

The paintings to be sent to the gallery in Europe, will be selected by you and the gallery together after we prepare your page at the gallery´s website. In general, 2 or 3 paintings will be enough for the start.
