Artist statement

Pavel Kir is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice brings together painting, photography, graphics, text, artificial intelligence, performance, and stage forms into a unified system of artistic intervention.

At the center of his work are the human being, time, memory, trauma, inner freedom, and the hidden mechanisms of perception. Pavel Kir’s artistic system is based on two operations directed toward different levels of experience: StripleP (Street Post-Photography Painting) and Surgical Surrealism.
StripleP works with external reality through photography and painterly intervention. Preserving the subject and composition of the original image, Kir intensifies its inner tensions, shifting the human figure from everyday presence toward symbol, object, and universal sign.

Surgical Surrealism addresses internal experience. In this direction, the line functions as a scalpel, cutting into the surface and exposing hidden layers of the subconscious. Paint is not decorative, but becomes a trace of intervention: it records rupture, trauma, and the possibility of healing.

Through these two directions, Pavel Kir constructs a visual language in which image becomes a form of psychological, existential, and artistic inquiry.
