0% Commission
At Parcus Gallery, we do not charge any commission on sales.
This policy creates a remarkable effect: buyers feel more encouraged to acquire artworks, knowing that the full amount goes to the artist (after taxes).
Above all, in the act of selling, our representatives never carry the restless aura of someone seeking a commission at all costs — like a used car dealer. Art deserves serenity.
Everyone benefits — the artist, the gallery, and the collectors.
Note: We’ve observed that many artists believe they must attend the exhibitions in person—but this is not the case. In fact, the vast majority of artists do not attend. The artworks are simply sent to our headquarters at the castle in Austria, and from there, the gallery takes care of everything. The artist doesn’t need to take any further action—ever.
Naturally, it’s always a joy to meet our artist friends in person, especially during the opening events. However, on the other days of the fair, it’s actually preferable that artists do not remain at the booth. This allows the gallery team to maintain full focus on engaging with collectors and handling sales as effectively as possible.
General Conditions:
- All memberships are subject to approval.
- Shipping expenses, both to and from the venue, are the responsibility of the artist, including import/export taxes which is always applicable, when it concerns shipments from/to outside the EU.
- The gallery does not require exclusivity from its members, this being an optional initiative for each artist.
- Artworks in the gallery, shipping, and insurance: Selection of artworks to be agreed upon with the gallery. Shipping costs between the artist’s studio and gallery (and return) are the artist’s responsibility. Insurance, if desired, is also at the artist’s expense. The Gallery is not liable for any damages to artworks under any circumstances.Â
- The artist will receive 100% of the sale amount, minus a 20% sales tax deduction and any expenses with credit/debit cards.
- For sold artworks, Shipping must be paid by the buyer or the artist, as agreed in common sense.
General Criteria Considered in Evaluating New Gallery Members
- Quality of Materials: Use of appropriate materials, combined with the application of philosophical or unexpected content, and the ability to create works with deep concepts and precise technical execution.
- Understanding of Artistic Concepts: Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of artistic concepts.
- Emerging Personality: Signs of the artist’s emerging personality and vision through their work.
- Quality/Market Impact Ratio: Value of the work in the various inherent aspects with respect to the market.
- Growth Potential: Indications that the artist has potential to evolve and improve skills, artistic vision, and relationship/symbiosis with the art market over time.
Our gallery is expanding its already prestigious roster of artists, and we use opportunities like this to encourage talented individuals to join us as members.
In today’s dynamic art market, galleries must showcase impactful artists with representativeness, value, and content.
“At Parcus Gallery, we focus on providing services for our members, constantly participating in a large number of art fairs, creating strategic opportunities for our artists to connect with buyers and build great-best chances to favor the sale of artworks. On top of that, we use passion, talent, and dedication in “Full Mode”. Otherwise, nothing would work.”
What sets us apart?
- No Sales Commissions: Buyers appreciate seeing “No commission” explicitly displayed on our artwork labels, fostering trust and transparency.
- Strategic Temporary Exhibitions: In addition to our headquarters in the beautiful castle where our gallery is located in Austria, instead of maintaining costly permanent galleries branches, we host temporary exhibitions in prime locations at opportune times. This enriches our artists’ CVs and maximizes exposure to high-quality audiences.
- Impressive Event Calendar: We organize exhibitions in major cities like Paris, Milan, Florence, and more, ensuring wide visibility for our artists.
We are aware that these are not the usual proposals you come across, but they are the result of years of experience and refinement, adapting to the ever-changing curves of the art market. Talent and astuteness in choosing the right path are what make the difference to ensure that success and good fortune are always on our side.
