With an air of graceful nobleness, the woman emanates femininity underlined by the outline of the ultramarine cloth, as well as an eerie presence of something mystical, primordial. Her translucent skin, which seems to be gleaming from the inside, immediately captures one’s attention through the intricate play of light and shadows. The arrangement of hands, as if they were disconnected, accentuates complementary finger positions and ensuing harmonic balance of the painting.

Working exclusively with oil paints I use my own signature technique of color contrasts to create this glowing and atmospheric effect.
