KATHARINA STEGMEIER, FINE ARTIST.

• Born in 1977 (Black Forest, Germany), actually living in Nuremberg, Bavaria
• Art history studies (1997-2003) at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg/Breisgau. Degree: Magister Artium
• Since 2019 autodidact
• I originate from a family of artists and have learned to process my experiences creatively from childhood on. Studying art taught me what methodological approaches there are and that theoretical knowledge is not comparable to its application in practice.
• My inner world was different from how others perceived it. It was enriched by openness to differences, experimentation and curiosity. Thus, a more or less atrophied creative spirit lay dormant in me over all those years, which finally became strong enough in the Corona solitude.
• I dared to step outside and will pursue the artistic path through my own studio, professionalizing methods, awareness and art.
